John Henry Bonham has been one of my biggest inspirations from day one, as well as thousands of other drummers. From a perspective of rock drumming Bonzo is the crown jewel in the history of rock drumming. His influence can not be ignored, he help shape the way rock drumming has evolved over the past 40 years.

John approached his drumming technique is that he drew from his influences and tastefully blended the style of his heroes into some of the most recognizable and greatest songs in rock history। John was a huge fan of jazz drummers like Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, and Joe Morello.

The limited engagement of concert dates — timed to take place just after the 30th anniversary of John's passing on September 25, 1980 — will launch in North America October 8 in British Columbia. Jason Bonham — who has teamed with Annerin Productions, the heralded company behind "The Pink Floyd Experience" and "Rain, A Tribute to the Beatles" — is anxiously anticipating the show's opening night. "I can't wait," Jason enthuses. "I'm sure it will be an emotional night, especially the first time we do it in front of an audience, but it's a commemoration of Dad's life and my life with the music and the company of LED ZEPPELIN.
